The brief for the feasibility study was to explore ideas for the improvement of the visitor experience to the building. This includes a new entrance, conference facilities and customer presentation area.

A new double height glass foyer creates a visible presence and clearly marks the entrance from Bilton Road. This provides a high quality waiting area, with exhibition space and new reception area to welcome visitors.

Further exhibition space is provided on the first floor, with a new gallery connecting to the double height foyer, which invites visitors to access the first floor and links the two spaces. On the first floor a new conference space with adjoining customer presentation area is provided.

An enclosed orangery with solar canopy and a sustainable green roof garden is located on the second floor. Ideal for entertaining, and maximises views across the site.
